Tamarisk Chainsaw Massacre!

2007 Tamarisk removal project announced!
              • When – Saturday, March 31st
              • Where - Utah Lake Wetlane Preserve
              • Meet – 4800 West and 5400 South (west of Spanish Fork) [.pdf map] [google map with directions]
              • Time – 8:00 am to 12:00 pm
              • What (Objective) – Control efforts will consist of a two-stage effort. First, the branches and trunks of tamarisk trees will be cut down and stacked in piles. Immediately after cutting, an herbicide will be applied directly to the fresh-cut stumps to kill the roots.
              • What to wear – Long sleeve shirt and long sleeve pant
              • What to bring – Gloves, sunscreen, water, lunch
              • Barbecue lunch will be provided to all volunteers!

TAMARIX BASH & WHACK!

2005 tamarix/Salt cedar bash & whack day a success
