A Weed Managers Guide to Remote Sensing and GIS Geospatial technologies such as remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS) can reduce costs and increase the efficiency and effectiveness of weed management programs for certain weeds. This site provides information, technical guidance, and resources to help resource managers learn to use these technologies to predict weed invasion, map and monitor weeds, and educate the public about weeds. a weed managers guide to remote sensing

Utah Bureau of Land Management, Partners Against Noxious Weeds

Invasive and exotic plants are degrading wildland ecosystems at a rapid and ever-increasing rate. Without major increased exotic plant management efforts, these aggressive plants will continue marching through rangelands and farms that we value so highly. Only if we act quickly, both locally and regionally, will cooperative invasive plant management be economical and effective.

Utah Weed Control Association The Utah Weed Control Association has been around since about 1986. It was formed in order to bring weed control issues into a greater light and to provide a forum to address ways to improve weed control in the state. But the most exciting thing about Utah Weed Control is their extensive weed database.
